The old, ragged barn standing through the years while the clouds come and go, reshape themselves, fill the sky or retreat. The fluid and the fixed, the long and the short time, while the old artist (but still full of a young soul) reminisces his childhood days. What a great video this is, full of metaphors, for a beautiful song. Neil, your art always warms my heart ~ thanks a lot!

Listening to Neil has been literally life saving at points of my life, my sister too. I commented on how I loved Neil’s music and it has helped me so much, to my 5 siblings, knew one sis loved Neil, I said I knew he wasn’t everyone’s favorite & all my siblings said, “Who doesn’t love Neil?”, my brother quoted “I’m just a miner for a Heart ❤️ of Gold, wow! I knew all my best friends love Neil, but it was great to find out they listened to their oldest sister’s Neil albums, when we were all teenagers!! Neil’s music soothes my soul!

It was a "pleasant diversion" seein' and hearin' Neil playin' with POTR for the better part of the last decade. However, as great of a collaboration that Collective Sound of Neil/POTR was/is, it is such a refreshing, heartwarming, soulful feelin' of decades-long JOY, bein' Back In The Barn Again with The Horse; whether it be the "More Barn"-Barn, of sittin' in the boat out on the pond outside of Redwood, or the newer Log Barn in Colorado. What's the same is, it's both Crazy Horse playin' in "The Barn". Plus, as much as I'm sad not seein'/hearin' "Ol' Poncho" on Rhythm Guitar/Keys/Vocals with The Horse, ('cause who wouldn't mind retirin' to Hawaii in your golden years), it truly doesn't get any better to have long-time compadre (and always a life-long member of Crazy Horse), Nils Lofgren, back on Guitar/Piano/Accordian/Vocals again. And of course, it goes without sayin', a huge shout-out to Ol' Ralph and Ol' Billy, the Legs and Hooves Back-Beat of The Horse!
Like Neil describes the music which eminates from The Barn, the best word for that decades-long-place-in -our-hearts is: ORGANIC! Yes, indeed, that about says it all. Yep!

That 50 Les Paul Black Beauty is nearly as priceless as Neal. Been a fan since I was 8 or so and am 63 today. More than an instrument, I have listened to NY nearly all my life through it. They have grown old together and are one in the same. Someday all we will have are our memories, his recordings and that remarkable guitar. Who would even be worthy to plug it in. Yet it's too important to put behind glass or displayed as some basement trophy. That guitar is alive. Clapton auction his off to good causes. But that's not good enough. What do you do with the instrument the great Neal Youg channels his creativity threw today when he is no more.

Hey Neil and Nils and Ralph and Billy! I just read your message in NYA and I am so glad that you went through our messages and found them rewarding and renewing! It' s our little way to say to you and the Horse the most heartfelt and big "thank you" for all these years of companionship you have offered us. It's not just a literary scheme when many of us tell you that you have "saved" our lifes in one way or another through the years.

The bonds that art creates are magical. It's humanity at its best!
