Exploiting SUDO to read/execute commands as root user ( Linux Local Privilege Escalation)

Показать описание
In this video we'll be exploiting SUDO with these commands:-
iftop
find
nano
vim
man
awk
less
ftp
nmap (--script flag)
apache2
more (by shrinking the terminal size)

notes:
in the video I've mistakenly mentioned the content in /etc/shadow as credentials, actually it should be 'hashes' that stored in the /etc/shadow

Living off the land is one of the most unspoken methodologies and that is not a good thing. More secure networks won't have the luxuries of what we come across in vulnerable machines and tend to have tighter controls.

This is one of the few channels where straight to the point content is being published. But from a penetration testing perspective I would love to see more videos which discuss some of your tactics of recon and enumeration. I feel like recon can be done in ways which can be considered stealthy and evade potential defences which is another consideration to make when up against a well defended machine.

Keep up your good content.
