As altitude increases, the amount of gas molecules in the air decreases—the air becomes less dense than air nearer to sea level. This is what meteorologists and mountaineers mean by "thin air." Thin air exerts less pressure than air at a lower altitude.

जैसे-जैसे ऊंचाई बढ़ती जाती है उस स्तर के ऊपर वायुमंडलीय द्रव्यमान कम होता जाता है, इसलिए बढ़ती ऊंचाई के साथ दबाव घट जाता है।

When we go in altitude, then Every molecular's density of air is decreased in atmosphere, then temperature would be decreased as well as pressure . ( Temperature directly proportional to pressure).

We can relate this experiment by mathematical formula 'ρgh' so if the height increases the pressure decreases because the density of it decreases..

As one ascends in altitude, the atmospheric pressure decreases because the weight of the air column above becomes lighter. With increasing height, the number of air molecules per unit volume decreases, resulting in reduced pressure. This phenomenon is essential in understanding various atmospheric conditions and their impacts on weather patterns and human activities at different elevations.

As height increases in Earth's atmosphere, there are fewer air molecules above, leading to lower atmospheric pressure due to decreased gravitational force acting on the air column.

Does gravity has any role in decrease in pressure on height, , ??

As the upper air exerts pressure on down air then because of that down air becomes dense and upper air less dence so atmospheric pressure is less . And also happy guru pournima sir 🌹💐

Because it get more distance from centre of the earth and the gravitational force act towards centre

That's a Roult's law
Partial Pressure is directly proportional to disolve to oxygen in air at high altitudes

pressure reduces with height because air becomes thin as we rise up so air molecules will be less in unit volume so they contribute less pressure

Kyu ki pressure ka formula hota he
Pressure=force /Area ager ham upper jayenge to area badhega or pressure decrease hoga.

Due to low dense air particles at higher level makes the low pressure atmosphere at higher altitude.

Because pressure depends on heught column and when the height is increased then the height column decreases and the pressure decreases
Pressure = height column × g × density
