Thanks guys for “dummying down” the great info you provide. I find there’s a lot of less experienced underwater photographers out there than there are experienced. Keep up the great work!!🦑🐠🦈🐟

Extremely helpful! Thanks so very for covering this topic. I have a new Sony system. Right now most of the tutorials for it are for land uses, and they emphasize A priority for action shots. I've been trying to think thru how to translate A for UW usage, (without being able to test it in water right now).
Your reminder to keep a relatively consistent ambient light level I think is the key that is not mentioned in the 'land' tutorials. It should help prevent the Auto ISO from exceeding it's set range. A problem I have experienced in land testing.
So, a rehash of ' basics' is always a good idea. Thanks!

Thank you for yet another informative video. I fully agree the points of Alex about exposure mode. The only clarfication: use auto ISO only with available light photography. With strobes auto ISO will produce inconsistent results. If you use strobes it is worth to fix both apperture and ISO at least. My opinion is, indeed, that it is not worth to let camera choose more than one of the three exposure param (speed, apperture, ISO). Otherwise it is photos defined by japanes camera engineer, not you.
