I have several sets of those leads i bought them off the usual Jungle site . I like them about as well as my expensive fluke leads . I think that meter may be good for checking batteries and fuses and thats about it .

only the touch screen model can measure 2mhz, because it have a manual mode you put it in to only detect frequency
i dont know, im still not used to full auto meter, kinda prefer to be able to force in voltage mode manually

I got the 683. Impressed as i have a far more expensive meter too. I have checked the calibration using a standard calibreated voltage source and current source for both ac and DC. Rather accurate! I did not like the leads and bought meaty 1000V and 10 A leads.

the 681 or 683 is much better display wise. The only bad thing about this meter is that its hard to measure voltages below 0.8v. I think its because of the auto detect feature. I have the 681 version and also a Fluke 179 and tbh unless you're not specially dealing with below 0.8v then you wont notice the difference

Nice review mate. I have the 683 and love it in manual mode. The 683 cannot disable APO because the select switch is on the touchscreen. Personally I like the rechargeable lithium battery. This is why I bought it. Hopeful you can review the 683. I hope you can review the lithium powered Bside 02 scope. Really handy on the go.

I have the 683 version, but I don't like the resistance meter is only in auto mode, sometimes I need to measure litlle resistances near processors and the only way that I thought was puting a manual switch in the line of beep for it not beeping continuously

will not 0V on a psu with a very low output impedance show up as a short on a meter that is trying to back feed the PSU with it's resistance measuring voltage. if it's trying to put a current through the resistance then it is a short.

i suppose it depends if it tries to do a resistance test before doing a voltage test in auto mode.

that's my 10$ worth, it will always have the capacity to error. Just had to get the cap word in 🙂

I do like the probe sensing feature, as for the auto range never a fan of it ! I imagine you are correct it would be hard to see outside in direct sunlight or very bright lighting? But I am curious as to how many US Dollars it would cost ??? Thank you for your review of this product

That auto mode is garbage. On one of my multimeters you can't manually select between DCV/ACV/ohms, because of course the bloody thing knows best what you want.

Auto mode is huge deal breaker. Disappointed in this meter. At least it was cheap!
