Maybe just me, but in general the nether has gotten far too easy and I do feel the mining obsidian with a diamond pickaxe to create the portal did seem to add to the gameplay than the early access lava bucket method.

Remember when you had to *actually build the portal, * by using a pick axe, and mining the obsidian. Now we just use buckets!
