In Spain the Benny Hill's show achieved remaining successfully for many years.!
I think it really showed never badly; neither morally hurting for anybody 😊

An amazing comedian and I always looked forward to his shows as these set pieces were so intricate, they were funny for different reasons as you grew up, as kids we enjoyed the slap stick as adults we enjoyed the nuances, double meanings and sexiness. The latter was what got him into trouble with the idiots that accused him of sexism, misogyny etc, the girls were involved but the lecherous man always came off worse. Also unlike many of his peers at the time, he didn't assault the girls. Many of the Hills Angels thought of him very highly, he was even godfather to some of their children. He was vilified whilst the real foul people like Saville, Rolf Harris etc hid in plain sight or their crimes hidden by others. RIP Benny, Thank you for all the happiness you brought to the world.

This is clearly from Bennie Hill's later work, and although it carries on his earlier tropes, I'm amazed at the subtle nuances he introduces later on. Fabulously entertaining, and while it may seem provocative, to me it always errs on the side of decency and respect - yes, respect - for the human condition. Thank you Bennie Hill, where ever you are ;).

Benny Hill had the talent to combine innuendo and comedy without being blatantly sexual and also being very finny to boot.

I loved the Laural and Hardy (the 2 funniest men ever to appear on TV or film IMO) homage with the Benny Hill twist.
