Chinese Luxury Electric SUV | Hongqi E-HS9

Chinese manufacturer Hongqi has revealed its latest entry into the EV space. The E-HS9 has been dubbed as the 'Chinese Rolls-Royce Cullinan' due to its luxury design. The Hongqi E-HS9 is popular across Asia and other parts of the world and Domi got her hands on it to drive here in Dubai. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Reason why it looks like a Rolls Royce is because HongQi's chief designer is Giles Taylor, who was the chief designer for Rolls Royce from 2011 to 2018.

They were making fun of Japanese cars in the '50s.(When American cars dominated the market.) Now the kings of the USA are Japanese cars. The perception of poor quality made in China is breaking down, and they have made a rapid entry into the automobile world. They will also produce very competitive cars in the future. Auto giants must work hard if they don't want to end up like Nokia.

Hongqi is the word means ‘Red Flag’ in Chinese, it a brand with long history and used to only provided to premium leaders in the country.
