Показать описание
July 4 - 12, 2022 (day 3). Sweet simplicity: Mahamudra retreat with James Low at Retreathouse Berghof, on the outskirts of Wiesen city, a small village in the Spessart Nature Park, in Germany.
James taught referring to his new 2022 book "Sweet simplicity: Mahamudra doha song":
It contains key mahamudra texts and is also published in German, with the title "Einfach so ...".
The focus of the retreat was on opening ourselves to these precious teachings and applying them in frequent meditation practice.
We find ourselves in the intrinsic non-duality of mahamudra by being present in the instant spontaneity which displays the inseparability of illusory subject and object.
~ James Low
Given the country setting we were able to practise outside to make good use of the space. The retreat took place in a big tent just in front of the retreat house, so there were enough space and fresh air for the safety of all participants.
0:00 Session 1
2:25:17 Session 2
Note: the speech is automatically transcribed by YouTube, but has some mistakes in it, particularly when Tibetan words and names are involved.
