I Rebuild 1860 MUNICH for 10 SEASONS

A founding Bundesliga member, 1860 Munich were regulars in Germany's top flight up until 2003-04.

Now, 1860, the first Munich side to win the Bundesliga in 1966, find themselves in the third division, having dropped as low as the fourth tier due to on- and off-field issues.

Before 1860's drastic fall, they spent 10 consecutive seasons in the Bundesliga from 1994. With the highlight for Die Lowen being their fourth-placed finish in 1999-00, earning them a spot in the Champions League qualifiers.

Our goal today is to take over this sleeping giant in Germany’s third tier and take them back to the top making them the best team in Munich and in Germany.

i play FM on and off for 5 years now, but my personal special save was 2022 version of 1860 Munich - my idea was to win a CL with Munich which is not Bayern.

Couldn't do it, but won 1 BuLi, 2 Europa Leagues, and 5 straight DFB Pokal. Even had a relegation the first time I got promoted to Bundesliga 1st time. 1860 is always special to me FM.

When Franz Beckenbauer was still a youth player his biggest dream was to play for 1860 until, in a youth match, one of the 1860 players slapped him in the face. Which led to Beckenbauers joining FC Bayern Munich few years later and the rest is history. Just imagin how things would have been without that single slap.

🏳‍🌈1860 is always a fun rebuild. And a very good one from you again. Sure, the title eluded you, but you built a good squad while keeping things sustainable. And i can tell you as a Romanian that i would love a guy as Spiridon in a Romanian national team jersey. And to diversify things i'd say do a Dinamo Bucharest rebuild. They are the team with the second most titles in Romanian history, have been in the 80's a strong European team, but now are the definition of fallen giants. They just got promoted from the second division and are in a relegation/promotion play-off. They have a good academy (don't know if it is reflected in FM) and they would need you to become what they were before.
