My problem with buying this phone (or any other motorola phone) is that I remember the update frequency being absolute garbage when I had my moto g5 plus. I was running months old software during that time where there was a big bluetooth vulnerability around 2018/2019. That garbage phone received like one major version update too, and it took about a year to get it. So, it was the outdated, previous version of android when the moto g5 plus got it.

People buy thinkpads because they are self serviceable easily and super modable. I'm willing to bet this phone is anything but serviceable. Lenovo missed on this one. Thank you for the manufactured e-waste.

I'm an Apple enthusiast transitioning to a Windows Thinkpad for my new job. My iPhone is showing its age, and I'm considering moving to a Thinkphone due to my admiration for Lenovo's Thinkpad line, rooted in IBM's legacy. Despite my interest in Thinkphone, I'm hesitant due to a previous negative experience with Android on a Nokia device. Text messaging proved unreliable, and connecting to WiFi was cumbersome, requiring manual input of work network details each time. Recently, a colleague switched from an iPhone to a Thinkphone and encountered similar texting issues. I'm uncertain if this is an Android-specific problem or a hardware issue. Regardless, I'm eager to find solutions as I'm keen on purchasing a Thinkphone. I would greatly appreciate any assistance from Lenovo or Motorola, as I believe their support could significantly enhance the sales of this excellent phone.

To anyone considering a motorola or lenovo product, reconsider. This is from a well wisher who understands how this company works. They have the worst customer and technical support. Read through their own forums on their products and see how disatisfied users are with their products. The motorola edge 30 ultra being their flagship is stuck on android 12 with an outdated security patch for the second time. This would be bad by itself but the device is full of bugs and issues. The camera is useless and is nothing like its adverts claim. The advertisements are misleading. This is not a good buying decision
