This music makes me want to disappear into the briar and paint my skin with mud and live among the beetles and forget how to speak in human tongues.


I absolutely LOVE these lyrics, so evocative and powerful;
"I will hide at the top of the trees/when the night comes with the breeze/I see you before you see me/When you enter the wood"

Wow. really amazing music, sung in an authoritative, druidic voice, with the broad brush strokes of the guitar underneath and the calling of the flute, I could listen to this all day. It is reminiscent of The Wake by Paul Kingsnorth, an excellent book.


However I think the video is definitely the worst part about this. It looks like someone is making fun of what the real video should be. It is boring and cheap and detracts from the experience of the song. I want to find an audio-only version of this so that I can share this music with my friends!

Thank you. Now I will return to the fen banks where I belong, among the swaying green leaves, with soil between my toes and cold in my bones.

I like the music..
The video made me laugh a little.. I mean no disrespect..
I expected the costumed person to trip or run into a tree, cuz it appears he or she was struggling a little..
I am a fan of folk music.. Celtic and medieval is relaxing and stirs my imagination..
