I got exalted 7th lord (Moon) in the 5th house, 2 deg away from exaltation point and rahu in the 5th house. From my moon chart, my 7th lord is also in the 5th house. I am in my mid 30s now and never been in a serious relationship. Seems like I got the opposite manifestation. I also got an empty 7th house in D1.

Elizabeth Taylor is so me. Venus exalted in Revati I tell you! We just love to love! That’s why they say people with exalted Venus have trouble finding lasting love. We want that authentic real spiritual love and it is so hard to find. My 5th house ruler is Venus, so again, I am obsessed with love. In my chart I have Venus exactly square my 7th house Uranus-Neptune conjunction, so like Elizabeth I struggle with lasting love. It literally doesn’t last because it is exactly square my 7th house Uranus-Neptune conjunctipn. I use western and vedic astrology to help me. I find using one over the other isn’t beneficial.

Yes 7th house ruler in 5th house is bad for relationships. I would go so far and say all relationships not just marriage.
