The chase sapphire preferred is a great travel credit card. Despite the ongoing pandemic and the restrictions for travel, the chase sapphire preferred is still a great credit card to consider during these pressing times. Chase has been really good about improving the benefits on their credit cards this past year.

This chase sapphire preferred has a great bonus category for travel, giving you 2 points per dollar all travel and dining related purchases.

On top of a great bonus category, the sapphire preferred also allows you to redeem your points for more value with the chase ultimate rewards portal. This allows you to redeem the points you earn for at least 1.25 cents per point. This is huge benefit and can increase the value of your tavelling.

Chase introduced the Pay-Yourself Back feature this year, which allows you to be able to use the points that you have earned in order to redeem for grocery store and restaurants. This also increases the value to 1.25 cents per point so you can still get an increase in point value when using the sapphire preferred.

-its a good card for the travel protections and if you already have the Freedom Flex or Freedom Unlimited & plan to use their travel portal. I actually opted for the citi premier for their 3x multipliers & the hotel benefit. i also already had the citi double cash card.
