As an American I'll want the Genesis version when it comes out, but I'd REALLY like it if we could choose the game that it comes with. Streets of Rage 2 spent more time in my Genesis than any other have.

What most people do not appreciate is how much went for the licence. A Chinese knockoff would be way cheaper but completely not licensed. I wish the manufacturer luck.

I saw it at the London gaming market back in March this year, mind was blown by the detail, was tempted to grab one but spent quite a bit on games so passed on it then but if they're at the next one in July I may grab one, I'm a massive sega fan too so I'd love to see a game gear one, I have a real soft spot for the game gear

They should release a limited line. All their consoles. Imagine a tiny Game Gear and Nomad!

They are not for function. The arguments against them are ridiculous.

A PC is cheaper than an old arcade cabinet, but that isn't the point of owning one.

The same applies here. It is simply an ornament. Like Funkos. Or models of anime characters that can cost hundreds of pounds.

I wonder how many people being negative own completely pointless models that don't do anything.

If the controller had a wire and could plug into the Megadrive I'd buy it now, but those stickers on the front would just bother me too much to have it on display.

I would consider it if the functional one from Sega wasn't coming this September. I would definitely buy mini cartridges that I could plug into the functional Mini.

I think they _really_ missed the opportunity to make it raspberry pi compatible out of the box. I know that some people have modded it to house a pi, but it's fiddly. This could have been the ultimate shell to house one, if only they had thought ahead.

This looks like an awesome little product, but I have trouble justifying the purchase of anything that doesn't serve some practical purpose. As for what I'd like to see, I enjoy the Sega Master System quite a bit. :)

You can buy a working Mega Drive for less than £20 that you can actually use, so why not buy 1 of those instead?
Scale models of cars that you love but can't afford makes sense to me and those scale model arcade machines make sense if you don't have the room for 1 but even being a huge SEGA fan i have zero interest in this product, if you own a real Mega Drive, honestly, what is the point?
