I really wish Rockstar would would do more with RDO. I absolutely loved this game at one point, kinda still do. It seems like almost every game I choose to really get into and play, the devs start to neglect

I have had the bounty hunter roll for a few years now and I have completely stopped using it. Every now and then I do a legendary bounty but overall it isn’t a very profitable roll for me. At the start I mainly used it for unlocking all of the cosmetics that came with the roll. If R* wants to make the bounty hunter roll more popular they should add more missions and a bigger pay out.

I could do the role better. The problem with the role right now is that there is no reason to kill bounties. A good way to fix that is to add only dead bounties that pay more for killing them but you have to avoid the head for maximum payment because the body needs to be recognizable. I would also add only alive bounties for high honor players. Then I would use the honor system here to limit which bounties you get. For example if your a low honor bounty hunter you would only get only dead bounties and as a bonus if your honor is low enough some enemies would run away at the sight of you. While if you have high honor you get more only alive bounties and the bounties are more likely to surrender. As for legendary bounties I would have 10 for high honor and 10 for low honor with the naturally being either only alive or only dead depending on your honor and you can only access these high honor legendary bounties if your have high honor and the low honor ones should have the same thing. Then finally I would have unique items to buy for the bounty hunter but I would restrict it depending on your honor. If you have high honor you can buy items that can help you capture them alive like the reinforced lasso but if you have low honor you can buy things that help you kill more enemies. By using the honor system this way you can make the role better and that is how I would fix it. Plus rockstar would make more money because now you have a reason to switch your honor which means old man jones will be getting a lot of players visiting him to switch their honor

I'm level 557, so this is a perspective of someone that doesn't need anything in terms of currency/XP. I still play daily, I play to fill daily challenges (but again not for gold, money or xp). It's just something I do because I enjoy the game. That being said, I agree with you that I utilize the Collector role a lot more than the Bounty Hunter role now. I'd say I do a bounty (up to three depending on how other role challenges stack up) every other time I play. Sometimes I want to shoot and lasso NPCs, sometimes I just want to play laid back and shoot animals. Sometimes I do a bounty (Legendary or Infamous) to switch lobbies and force my Moonshine to complete without selling/brewing again. On the other hand, I almost always fill the three Collector role challenges (unless it's "use 3 Collector maps" which I don't fulfill). It gives me a chance to go to places on the map I don't base myself at (I camp mostly in Big Valley, and my moonshine is in Tall Trees/Great Plains) without guns ablaze.

I'm so sick of the neglect Rockstar have shown this game and it's community, this was my favorite game, I no lifed it, now I can't even hop on without immediately getting bored and hopping back off.

I usually tell my friends who join RDO, to start with the trader role, then to get the Bounty Hunter role to gain cash first for better weapons thus when they have both they can do Bounty Hunting while waiting for Chripp to finish up with the materials to sell in the trading role

Whenever I go do laundry or anything, I go into that bounty. I have done hours back to back grinding, not even being there.. Kinda.

The etta bounty is actually the only thing I like about the bounty hunter.

I think they should add a new role like a photographer role or something to do with the mines to add more fun to Rdo and I also think they should add 3 part bounties with different storylines and different missions where each part leads u closer to capturing the bounty target. Once u capture the bounty target I think you should get a large sum of cash. The last thing they need to do is add more hairstyles and clothing and more properties or vehicles such as a cabin or a boat (just something good to spend cash on)

personally as a mainly solo player (lvl 159) I actually did a legendary bounty for the first time in a few months this morning (lvl 30 bounty hunter all 5* difficulty legendary bounties) and I just couldn't see the point of it anymore when I can just do moonshine, blood money, or even just free roam/pvp and have more fun/make better money but as a newer player who doesnt have access to everything it is the only role that gives gold so you can do blood money and bounties to make enough gold to easily get every role the legendary bounties are fun when they are single targets at 1*-3* I believe but as a solo player they get more annoying than it's worth when you have to catch 3+ targets

Heck yeah, it’s fun, challenges one to master the action based mechanics of the game and the legendary bounties are good content and pay well. When I haven’t played for a while I’ll come back and bring in a few bounties as it just feels the most like actually simulating a cowboy from all the roles in the game.

I'm still enjoying the bounty hunter role as part of my daily in game routine, hunt/sell skins, sell moonshine, collect for Madame Nazar, bounty hunt etc. I like the bonus rewards we occasionally get for bounties, although Etta Doyle hates me then :)

It really is just sad that they still continue to neglect this game and not update it at all cause of gta 5 I really enjoy this game to.but obviously seems that they just don't care

I do like the Bounty Hunter role, but my biggest complaint is the timer. It is most annoying to me that if a Bounty runs for it, which most do, and if they have achieved a good distance on you. It takes most of the time to catch up, then hogtie etc, then get back to either the wagon or jail all in the allocated time. I have just missed out because the timer expired before I could complete it in time.

The bounty hunter was the first role i bought and at one point thought it was the most profitable but after ranking up my trader snd moonshine all the way I realized its probably the least in actuality. It just gets you alot of money right off the bat without much grind but now that they put a cool down for legendary bounties not so much. Trader will get you 650 every hour and a half if you keep at it and moonshiner gets you about 300 every 45 minutes. Last month when moonshiner was paying double I was making 450 an hour and managed to make 20 thousand before the event ended. Also just way more diverse in mission content.

This month no they should probably wait until next month & stack up on moonshiners & blood money contracts while it 2x money & gold. Maybe we get 2x money on bounty next month but I would wait it out in case that give u half off the role. I do love the bounty role & once u start doing 5 star legendary bounties your good too go on cash in gold.
