I had HMPV here in Australia after a sea cruise to Papua New Guinea and a domestic flight Canberra-Brisbane-Canberra in January 2025. I don't know where I got the virus though. I was very ill and exhausted. I could hardly walk. Parainfluenza virus was also detected in my PCR. I'm a male, 72.
