A couple points to clarify - first, I’m not a Microsoft engineer, just a dev who wants to make HoloLens 2 interaction toolkit (MRTK) available for other platforms, like MRTK.

Awesome video as aslways Tyriel! The Quest is continually surpassing what it was initially designed to do, and surprising us all. It really is the most versatile HMD on the market right now. I'm just discovering Virtual Desktop, and enjoying SteamVR games on my Quest wirelessly! I love my Quest, and would never swap for anything else :-)

Don't understand why oculus can't just implement ar with the passthrough camera that is used to set the vr boundary.

I would love to play that xylophone! Quest has been my best investment so far knowing that I have the capability to imagine what it would be like to have a Hololens 2! Haven't been able to see one in person yet :( thanks, Tyriel!

i would love to see some footage showing the hololens through the lenses, i think it will give us a good idea on how it actually looks and feels, i think the recordings are laggy and don't show the fov

Did you actually get the camera feed into VR or was that just overlaid onto your video?

Hi Tyriel. Quick question. Do you use 1.0 base stations or 2.0 base stations? I sold 1.0 when I bought the index, but lost the ability to use my Vive wands, because I didn't know the 2.0 were incompatible w the Vive wands. I am selling my 2.0 base stations tomorrow, is there any reason I shouldn't?
