Just got my 1 month reward from WOR. I feel like I can pop in and do all my dailies in under 30 minutes. Raid... a chore.

I like WOR over Raid for SO MANY THINGS! Fusions don't cause me to lose time with my wife, the summoning AND the reward system for summoning are amazing. Plarium made DAMN SURE you didn't double dip into summoning (Summoning in WOR gives you diamonds to do MORE SUMMONING)

Wor devs are doing a hell of a job learning from other game devs in general. And, now they are adding special Ai that we can control to control which gear gets the "thumbs up" when we are gea raiding lol. So nice :D

I play watcher, raid, and honkai star rail on a regular basis. Watcher feels the most rewarding by far. Raid has the best gear system. Honkai has the biggest variety in content and the best story by far.
Biggest gripe with watcher is ancient summons are terrible to get unless you are mid-late game, and even then without spending it's rough. In a year i've pulled 3 ancient exclusives and 2 were terrible. Other issues are difficulty spike between 18 and 19 on gear raids and bad rolling gear.
All are great games for different reasons

I won't deny that they've added a lot to the game but I like to see some additions to early game.
I'd like to be able to see the portal be Autoed if I've already cleared it.
I honestly would like some AI guidance in formations in campaign.

I started playing Summoners War in 2019, then I added raid then I added Dragonheir. dropped Dragonheir, dropped raid and picked up Watchers of realms.

Summoners War is my main game, Watcher of Realms is my 2nd game and then I got 2 other mobile games that I also play but aren't as intensive in time

LOVE WoR they do need to slow the roll though, we dont need new heroes EVERY week. Let me catch my breath, level up the ones i have even USE them.

Exactly as @joeschmidt4845 said, too tedious and fun disappeared after you start the game, play campaign for the first time and get some new heroes, later it's just mindless grind, 5 years playing dragon, fire knight and spider...I think the popularity is not the right word, it's simply because it's been out longer than WoR or Dragonheir. You can say the same for World of Warcraft, it's not the most popular, it's simply been out for 2 decades so it has more accounts.
WoR never appealed to me, graphics-wise mostly, looking at those enemies traverse the map reminds me of those old Arcade games we played in mid 90s.
But Dragonheir is where the fun is for me, I am not affected by the US market closing, thank god, and cannot wait next seasons for them to implement this roadmap they showed us, seems inanely great, not to mention the fun and feeling of DH design, for example cannot wait to play vs S4 endgame boss. That teaser they showed us looks amazing, best graphics, design, music and atmosphere in any gacha game

i love watcher. my only issue is that they are tied to tick tock so i always worry if they are going to go the way of dragonheir at some point. hope they dont because IMO its the best, and most fair gacha game out there.

I play in WoR almost 2 years and i am very happy. I don't spend money. In my opinion Watcher of Realms is much better game than raid! ❤

Dragonheir had a seasonal model but forgot to add real seasonal content after season 2.

I've played Raid, the game has a good core but too many problems and nothing changes. WoR is just so much better in so many aspect. I think just Raid's PvP keeps the players engaged and WoR's PvP isn't at the same level yet. Although keep in mind Raid's PvP only got good with live arena, years after release.

i stopped playing raid after a year and a half of playing i only went back to login for ninja then deleted it again im having way more fun on watcher of realms atm raid is slowly dying for me

As the Lorekeeper of this Game [unofficial of course ... well unfortunately😅] I can say that the way how the Lores have changed shows that they are really carrying about this game. As of now, they cannot completely compete with Raid in this regard, their Lore is much longer and deeper; but at the moment that is the only thing where they are a bit behind - and of course that is my completely subjective view on this matter. But aside from this comparison, the Lore of the Game is fascinating and a joy to read - so if anyone is interested in an audiobook-version of the Lores have a look around (I am sorry for this self-promo here; I do not have much options when it comes to get views 😅]
