I really don't understand this, if someone asks me where I live, I only tell them the name of the place, I don't tell them how many rooms my house has, why do I get 9 points for giving a wrong answer?

Is pausing or buying too much time with phrases like "Interesting question, let me think about that" make your score go down? In contrast, are there pluses for answering immediately?
