I would like to see thermals and sound readings for this device. I personally avoid anything at the 40+ decibel level in general.

Also the page says this can go up to 150 watts, I'm sure this is as easy as a BIOS upgrade but numbers for that would also be nice.

I got 2x of FPS on my mini PC using Oculink vs USB4 (both DIY one). More Oculink is welcome, but need more DIY one.

Everything's great but why no egpu maker goes above 7600m XT!! Something like 7700 or 7800 or RTX 4070 Ti Super would be so awesome!

Thanks for the video. This thing looks like GPD G1 (which has a full SD card slot) and Onexgpu had a baby. This thing looks like the G1 but has that OneXgpu SSD bay and boost button (although V2 of the G1 has a boost button).

USB4/TB3 vs oculink is not only more bandwidth but most of all there is way less overhead. Oculink is wired directly to the pci-ex while USB4/TB3 needs to do conversion adding latency and overhead.

In fact, a type C connector whose width has been doubled is enough to fit 16 PCIE lines, PCIE clock lines and other peripheral lines. Why haven't the big companies done this yet and we are stuck with those stupid PCIE slots? The new RTX 5090 already suffers from this problem, I think it's time to put the PCIE slot in its coffin.

The main issue is bandwidth. With the upcoming Thunderbolt 5 eGPUs will become popular over time since you won’t have any limitations anymore.

I would definitely like to see this running over usb4 and maybe Linux. I haven't really seen any of this stuff work with Linux at all so would be interesting if that is possible.

A usb4 test with something like an integrated 680m or lower would be very interesting.. just to see if its worth it

My only point for these reviews is that the fan noise is not measured under load. This is critical factor for me to choose one over another and I don't mind that egpu be larger but quiter as well.
