Hi Barbara. Thanks for the tip. Another way to do this is with Fill => Justify which spreads the text across the range you paint. This works well if you don't want to put everything in one cell or if your text exceeds the character limits of a single cell. An alternative methods is to Merge cells and let the text spill into the merged cells. But, I avoid Merged cells at all costs, due to other complications that they introduce. Is there a way to wrap the text without adjusting column width? Meaning keep the text overhang, but only up until a certain point?
I need to create notes in a financial model, and I do not want to have cells that are too wide, nor do I want to merge cells, as that is bad practice.
