Easily one of the best looking football boots, especially loved the Yellow + Green colorway. Managed to get a pair of these back in the day and could only wear them once because they were so incredibly hard to wear.

Hahah I still use these in practice. The synthetic softens up, and I love that plastic ping sound when u hit the ball. I never had any heel issues. Maybe it’s a foot shape thing. And ya, best looking boot maybe all-time

I never had these, but I’ve always thought they were the coolest looking cleats of all time. They are an old school Porsche 911 of soccer cleats

The vapor 4 with the swoosh on top changed the whole game they should re release the launch color homage of those😍 also the "plastic" boots looked the best on the pitch if you look now all the players boots are green even before the game

Man I remember my first time striking a ball with those boots instantly fell to the ground and won't able to feel my feet for a good 3 minutes. Traded them in for some legends and never looked back.

The young Kids... Worst Nike ever was the 1996 Air Zoom Rio. Those really ripped apart your Achilles tension with the first minute.

These where good after worm in. But the yellow heal pad was blister for sure, i did not signa waiver because I got them on release and did get blisters lol.

One of my teammates, only guy locally I seen wear these, would tape up his feet like a Thai boxer to avoid blisters but as far as I know he did this with every boot. These didn't last long anyway, some dude stood on his foot with metal studs and it made a big slit, his foot looked worse though 🫣

What! These were by far my favorite Merc of all time, once the blisters went away they were incredibly comfortable 😂

I own two pairs of these. They weren't the worst ever made. The Vapor 2's were significantly better though, and had a much better barefoot feel. But Vapor 2's also blistered the shit out of your feet too.

I had the take down model of these and they were the most comfortable boots I ever had because of my narrow feet. All my friends had this high end model which gave them blisters for days! This model holds a special place in my footballing career even tho they were generally awful for everyone 😂
