I love this song but some people don't realise just how deep the meaning behind it is

I don’t have daddy issues, my father is one of the only people there for me. Maybe the reason I like this song is because everything in my family is messed up horrendously, I could write a book about it. But my mother and father are the only people present for me and this song makes me realise how much I’m grateful for my dad.
