The Olympic committee apology was empty, I believe they knew exactly what they were doing and the only thing they were sorry for is the fact that they had such a negative response from conservatives and liberals. So they had to apologize even though they didn't really mean it. But I'm glad so many people pushed back. I also heard that night or the same day they're ended up being a blackout where all of Paris went dark except for a church on a hill that stayed lit up, and people together after the opening ceremony and started a praise and worship service to God
