I don’t use hype words but they could be epic historical flooding in South Carolina near Charleston where they could get the jackpot of over a foot of rain and you’re right it’s not out of the realm of possibility this briefly strengthen back to cat one hurricane before making a second landfall in South Carolina. That it’s expected to weaken as it goes up north to Virginia into Maryland and into Delaware, but it could go to Cape May New Jersey, as a 35 mph tropical depression however, in the Northeast, we do not expect hurricane conditions from Debby. However, it could be a big rainmaker even if it goes post tropical into depression or a remnant low. They could be some gusty winds along the Northeast coast, but not hurricane conditions. But I would advise people to maybe take a remote day from work on Friday. Remember Don’t drown turn around. And one more thing, Debby is very deadly and I have a feeling this could be the final year that we see a storm named Debby. The next name on the list is Ernesto followed by Francine. Coastal community residence are advised they may have to go further inland, especially if they’re in a flood prone area go some people go to Atlanta for shelter. And lastly there was a tornado in Buffalo, New York and 2024 could had the most tornadoes in New York on record.
