The whole 'Argghh KSI fighting anyone apart from Jake is pointless and trash' narrative is dumb AF.
This narrative is stupid, he doesn't own us anything to be only boxing Jake and while I am sick of this fight not happening I am happy for KSI to be fighting other people,
Keeping active is crucial in boxing and we should want KSI and Jake both at their best not after a 8 month lay off.

A gap of 3-4 months gives the needed time to recover physically and a warm up fight serves as a real assessment of the boxer and can help identify weaknesses to improve on and I know this whole sub reddit is 'argghh he only windmills' but its a lot more nuanced then that, the whole bladed stance thing while unconventional did allow him to avoid a lot of jabs, compared to the Logan 1 fight where he ate a lot of them and get on the inside more and he uses his footwork a lot more, that being said Jake still probably beats him.
It keeps him in a competitive mindset and physical condition so we don't get FATNEEK big juicy booty
KSI again, it’s better for his health, and the warm up fights offer an opportunity to test new strategies that can be employed in the big fight.

That being said Slim as an opponent feels to easy and I do not see him doing much better the Temper, but there is loads of boxers just a bit bellow Tommy's level that he could use as a warm up f like Daniel Bocianski, Jordan Grant, Lewis Kelse. etc.... or maybe fight a mma fighter with boxing experience like Alex Piereira, Victor Beltfort
