Hyper Tough Made in the USA Striking Cap Pry Bars at Wal-Mart are fairly priced for some good quality tools. These appear to be a rebranded product from WILDE TOOL which has many American made products and rebrands like the CRAFTSMAN striking cap pry bars from Sears, Master Force from Menards, ATD tools, possibly TEKTON , LANG TOOLS & others are a rebrand but the original is WILDE TOOLS . They have American made pry bars, crowbars, screwdrivers, punches, chisels & more
Made from heat treated, square stock steel with a black oxide finish to reduce rust, a solid square shank shaft runs through the comfortable ergonomic handle to the steel striking cap on the top. This lets you strike the caps with the hammer and apply maximum force & impact to the shaft when prying or wedging . The handles are large enough for your hands to grip the, easily while also striking the caps and protecting your hands
These are good quality tools for the price you’ll pay for them. Far cheaper then prices fro Craftsman online and if you want larger sizes you can go with Wilde Tool. If you need a better quality grade tool, I recommend the Mayhew Dominator Series
These are great for a wide range of tradesman, automotive, maintenance , carpenters, plumbers, boat mechanics, mobile mechanics, and more

To help keep those black oxide pry bars from rusting I've had really good luck taking white lithium grease and giving them a buff coating. It's really helped mine from rusting

Hyper tough makes decent cheap tools. I dont see why harbor freight gets a pass but hyper tough gets bashed lol they are dirt cheap tools.

Dude I just got the Masterforce set this weekend. $20 for a set of three USA made pry bars. I went with them over Tekton because I like green more than black lol

I love those pry bars I own 5 of them from the smallest to 36
36 it goes for 20 I pay 15 for my I think some play with it didn't have a price tag a little ding on the handle I like for the quality and the price you cant beat them

I don't have the Striking cap ones but I bought the regular pry bar sets from hyper tough about a year ago the small ones broke but the bigger ones in the set have been holding up

I saw some nice ones made by Husky at the depot, its a 3 piece set for 24.99 . If didn't have enough I would of scooped them up

90% Isopropyl Alcohol on a paper towel. Rub hard and fast on handle to build friction heat. 30 secs later and Hyper Tough logo is gone forever.

I don't know anyone that would call harbor freight high quality they're mid grade
