Ryan Gosling in this movie reminded me a lot of Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.) from Scooby-Doo (2002). He was born to play Ken as much as Margot Robbie was born to play Barbie.

Adum, Scoot and Gäel should do commentary tracks for the two live action Scooby-Doo movies from 2002 to 2004 directed by Raja Gosnell (Home Alone 3, The Smurfs 1&2) and written by James Gunn (yes, THAT James Gunn for those who didn’t know).

Hearing that the two front runners to currently win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2024 are Robert Downey Jr for Oppenheimer and Ryan Gosling for Barbie. Both have fantastic performances in their own merits. I have a feeling it might go to RDJ but I would be happy to see Gosling win.
