It is both amazing and fascinating that so many cans can be made at such a small cost to the consumer. Truly remarkable engineering and manufacturing genius.

I have a Job interview in a few hours at a Ardagh facility, and have been watching all the videos I can to learn about.

Thanks for the cool information video

I’d like to see the lid made, cans filled, and lid sealed too.

Seems thats less than a half of the process. All cans have an inner plastic protector, so the aluminum dont poison the beverage, and then they are filled and closed. So we have a cup here, what after that ? not here.

It was only a few days ago that I was looking at a can and wondering about the manufacturing process.
After watching this excellent video, I would like to know if the aluminium/steel is formed at high temperature or are there annealing stages?

Hi, I worked in this industry for 30 years. my job was toolind a die, The company was called Rexam. It was bought by Ardagh in 2015 and then simply closed down. Not because we were bad, but because we had a customer that Ardagh wanted, but who didn't want to do business with Ardagh. So they bought an entire corporation to get to this customer. and the customer was RED BULL becouse the contragt was over 12 Billion cans a yaer

I think it was a company called Dayton Reliable that invented the tab opener.

ALL THE DIES YOUR SHOWING I'VE MADE, INCREDIBLE TECHNOLOGY.
I USED TO WORK IN NORTONS "ADVANCED CERAMICS" DIVISION.
IT WAS GREAT WORK, BUT YOU'VE ALWAYS GOT NEFARIOUS PEOPLE
WHO HELPED DESTROY THE SITE I WAS AT 💰💰💰💰💰... THE AZ 92(93) PUNCHES I WAS TOLD WOULD
LAST UP TO 8 YEARS BEFORE NEEDING RE-SURFACED. ANYONE KNOW WHAT GREEN CARBIDE IS, IT'S A BAD JOB TO HAVE. WE HAD EXPERIMENTAL WHEELS THAT LASTED (6) YEARS AND THE FORMULA MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED... GREAT LEARNING JOB THOUGH. THIS WAS IN THE 90'S
BEFORE OUR TECHNICS WENT PUBLIC.
