His general look and vibe reminds me of Ganondorf from Wind Waker. But while WW Ganondorf had the calm and regal aura/demeanor of a elegant yet brutish Ruler like Qin Shi Huang, this Ganondorf feels more like a controlled yet seething, wrathful Warlord like Lü Bu or Xiang Yu.

I like to think that Ganondorf usually being a warlock & also having corrupted powers of Malice are what makes his skin color look different compared to the other Gerudo.
Crazy to that this is the 1st time since Ocarina of Time that Ganondorf & other Gerudo are in the world & game.

This color tear is different... almost like a darker grey. It makes me wonder if either:
A) These tears get 'powered up' when being used? Doesn't seem super likely given how colorful we've seen these others when not in use
B) This new tear is the inverse to the one on the Zonai(?)'s hand, like the yin and yang (which seems to be an extremely recurring motif)
C) This is the same tear as on the new character's hand (but a bit off-colored due to art style)

and if it's the latter 2... I do wonder when the switch happens.

This design is so cool, it really feels like a mashup between the WW and the TP version of Ganondorf

I think ganondorf have a shadow tear which why it’s black but his malice just makes it glow red.

This version of Ganondorf really remind me of a samurai.

Basically it's a mix between the face of OOT Ganon*, the buffed up body of TP Ganondorf, and clothes similar to TWW Ganondorf.

And I'm here for it!

* Particularly the nose. In OOT he had a pointy nose, which was a Gerudo physical trait. But in TWW and TP, for some reason, they gave him a flat nose. Now it's back to pointy, again.
