You Must Always Preserve Your Honour

Miyamoto Musashi was one of the most famous samurai warriors to of ever lived and one of the key principles he left behind was “You may abandon your body, but your must preserve your honour”

Let me explain

Now honour was something that was considered to be very sacred to the samurai, and the reason why is because it relates back to the legacy you leave behind for yourself, your family and for all of history.

Yes, all of our bodies will certainly and disintegrate, however our spirit of who we are and the legacy of what we achieved can live on forever.

Musashi was born over 400 years ago, but we still talk about him till this day in very high regard, because of the legacy that he left behind.

So the question you need to ask yourself is - How do you want to be remembered?

Meditate on this concept and embody that honourable spirit of what you want to leave behind every day…

Because even though your body will one day leave this world, your spirit and legacy can live on forever - and what greater way is it to leave behind your legacy embodied with the sprit of a honourable warrior.

when you learn about the way Musashi fought, you learn that his idea of honor is very different from what most people would find in the romanticized Edo period Bushido. Along with the idea of honor with pre-Edo period Samurai was also different to the samurai in the peaceful Edo period.

1 that sticks out for me is him saying get over *Love & Grief* ... a person would have to be pretty strong will for that... Miyamoto Musashi and Christ would have been really good friends if they meant each other... too be real I don't know what he means by *Lord* ? Not sure if he means God ? or the students he wrote the Dokkodo for the Lord meaning a Samurai Master/teacher/Clan Leader ?

Very well made,
I would like to offer a suggestion to add a bit more of a music related to themes like Assasin's creed Ezio's family theme,
It shall make the video more intense and people may share it around more and I want (we all do) scriptures like these to be shared more :)

The right grammar is
*'to have ever lived'
Hope it's corrected next time.

Has Musashi's legacy persisted until this day due to his honor? I think no. It was his achievements, story, and accessible sentiments that entice modern man.
