What I love about this is that it would be Easy to replace the water shooter with a ladder using those hinge pieces and it would then look and play like a totally normal fire truck!

Something worth bearing in mind for anyone who doesn't like the play feature!

Ladders are cheap as chips on bricklink too :P

The most interesting detail to me is probably one of the smallest: the fire extinguisher in white! Because up to now, minifigures have had to put out their fires with either ketchup or mustard...

That water action feature is JUST like the original Star Wars action figure lightsabers. My mind immediately went to those old toys when I watched this.

oh man this looks fantastic! As a kid Id be pumped about the water gun. but it also looks great as a base to build a more realistic water hose. I like that the whole back of the truck rotates. It just looks like a really fun toy to me.

I have this set, and I like it. The play feature is surprisingly a lot of fun, and being 18 I didn’t expect to have as much fun as I did with it. I plan on expanding the burger bar to fit into my Lego City, but overall this is a great set!

I was thinking put a plate over the top of the firetruck and take the action feature out it would look great.

I'm sure if you could replace the plate in the cockpit section where the minifigs sit with either 1x2 (with 1 stud in the center) or 1x3 (with 2 studs on top) jumper piece and also replace the plates underneath the doors with tiles (not neccesarly if you use 1x3 jumpers), you can have two minifigs sit side by side without much hassle.
