Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Award: Teaching Excellence - Ms Joyce Sibeko

Ms Joyce Sibeko lectures entrepreneurship in the
Department of Business Management, Faculty of
Management. After graduating with a National
Diploma in Human Resource Management,
about 20 years ago, she worked as a training
specialist in both private and public sector
organisations, for example, Spoornet, Liberty Life
and the Independent Examinations Board. Since
then, she has graduated with a B Tech: Human
Resources Management in 2003 and a Master’s in
Business Leadership from UNISA in 2014. She is
currently working on her PhD proposal in Business
Management, focusing on strategic leadership
in co-operatives. She has presented conference
papers and published in the scholarship of
teaching and learning.
