Что такое API?
Наиболее известная классификация моторных масел, была создана в 1969 году Американским институтом нефти (American Petroleum Institute), по областям применения и уровню эксплуатационных свойств, используемая в международном масштабе. Часто классификацию API ещё называют классификацией по качеству моторных масел.
