ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.

The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.

This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.

Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I see what John was saying about Brandon’s voice being “rare”. I replayed the video and listened just to Brandon and he was mesmerizing. He was holding his own even through Kara’s part. The song would not have been as beautiful without Brandon.

He was the stronger vocalist this battle, his tone was so smooth and colorful. She shined through her adlibs and her runs were gracefully placed. I would have chose him, I’m glad he was stolen! Overall one of the best battles of the entire show🙌🏾

Beautifully done from both of them. Brandon's tone, poise and precision, depth across registers and Kara's power and consistency were a match made in heaven. No wrong choice, and no right choice there. Glad to see them both move on.
