U.S. House passes TikTok ban

The House on Wednesday passed a bill that would lead to a nationwide ban of the popular video app TikTok if its China-based owner doesn't sell, as lawmakers acted on concerns that the company's current ownership structure is a national security threat.

I don't care if tiktok gets banned or not but I take issue with over 300+ members of the house voting for the ban, meanwhile ACP sits in limbo. Seriously tiktok is of such importance that you'd rather deal with that as opposed to deal with low income families loving cell and Internet service?

When it first came on the market I vowed never to join, and I haven't. If nothing else the app has already affected peoples ability to focus and pay attention for more than 2 minutes. The children go to school and they can't comprehend because they can't focus beyond the length of a Tik Tok video. It is directly affecting comprehension and the ability to learn complex tasks
