Dr. Ernest Vina is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the University of Arizona (UA) College of Medicine. He joined the UA College of Medicine and the UA Division of Rheumatology in 2014. He is also currently the Division’s Rheumatology Fellowship Program Director. His interests include racial/ethnic disparities research in musculoskeletal & rheumatic diseases, clinical osteoarthritis investigations, clinical manifestations of systemic lupus erythematous, and patient treatment preferences research. He has received funding from the Rheumatology Research Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. He has authored numerous publications in rheumatology, internal medicine and health services research journals.
