If you liked gxk bc of dumb monster action… you didn’t enjoy gxk. That movie had a story, amazing visuals, epic monster comebacks (*cough* mothra *cough cough*), and even the human side had a great story. It should not be surprising at all that gxk got so much money. I’m not saying dune, d&w, and inside out 2 weren’t absolutely amazing, but I’m saying gxk was too. And it wasn’t because of dumb monster action.
