Rasputin was known for his alleged healing abilities and became particularly close to Tsarina Alexandra, advising her on political matters. His sway over the royal family caused widespread concern, leading to his assassination by aristocrats in 1916, who feared his impact on Russian politics.

A mostly forgotten figure shrouded in the trivialization of sex energy and equally detrimental pursuit of God through a lust/repent formula not meant to be a practice. Wish I could learn more of the group he took up with after his horse thief, drunk skunk days forced him to abandon his family and roam the wilderness.
