30 years ago I met a couple of older American vets and spent the evening drinking with them. I was almost 20. They told me they were on their way to the Philippines to meet women. I asked them how they met them, and they showed me their paper magazine copies of Cherry Blossom magazine (which is still active online). I flipped through, and back then, "profiles" were literally magazine classified ads with a couple pics and contact info. They literally corresponded by mail and the occasional phone call. But modern tech and communication has made it easier and more accessible for everyone, and many more men are hearing about the option. Passport Bros are from all races & cultures. I am 61 and found a beautiful, widowed Filipina aged 53. Just one site has tens of thousands of Filipina women of all ages looking to marry a foreign man. Many have degrees and are well educated. My lady has 2 degrees & now lives with me in Australia. She has 2 adult children and weighs 59kg (130 pounds). All of these men have lost their wealth and their children through the family court system. These Filipina women have given these Australian men a second chance at life, and in some cases given these men children who are raised to respect their father. The contrast is unbelievable.

Today I’m leaving the hospital. My very first crush was a Filipina named Shirley Sebastian. I was maybe 11 years old. She liked me too but I was a kid and had no clue how to handle myself emotionally. Honestly, I should’ve married her when we turned 18 but we drifted apart in our early 20s. I still think about her 47 years later. Anyway, at this hospital there are Filipinas everywhere. They’re doctors, nurses, assistants and in food service. If I was single or divorced I’d train to get a job at a major hospital. These ladies are really nice and Caring. Yea, that’s what I’d do. I’d get a job at a hospital and pull an Filipina. No need to go out of the country.
