Something is not right with this. Who wears that kind of jewelry during a church service? Is this a insurance scam on his part?

This is Insurance Fraud at it’s worst. One thing I learned during my 20 years, 2 weeks and 2 days in the Marine Corps is. Know your enemy and be aware of your surroundings. Here is my take on what I see. This raises more question than anything.
1. If his congregation is big enough to pay him like that there would have been NYPD presence for traffic control in the parking lot.
2. Check his tax records because the material things and his reported salary probably will not match.
3. He knew the robbers, he was not panicked, and casually got on the floor. Not in hast out of fear.
4. The guy sitting over his right shoulder was in on it. He sit calmly and never mover. Did not run, get on the floor or take cover. Sit there calm through it all, because he knew there wasn’t any danger.
5. If the pastor is earning that kind of money there are some wealthy people in attendance; Why not rob them?
6. The gunmen were casual, they knew there would be no resistance. They did not have their weapons at the ready for unexpected confrontation.
7. His first report was 400k not it 1m. People under or over estimate property value but never by 600k.
If you over look the fact that this man spend over five years in prison for Insurance Fraud, Money Laundering, Identify Theft and Credit Card Fraud the entire situation is still unbelievable. He attempted to pull an insurance scam on the church and used the worshipers as witnesses in his scam. This is not the end of this story.

As a Chicago based black man....does anyone else smell a Juicy Smooyay situation here? Noone in this video seems truly shocked. Either this "pastor" was staging an insurance scam, or heinous crimes in NYC are totally expected and accepted (which also sadly seems to be the case even in my own city.)

This Pastor had it coming. Normally I would be angry as hell when something like this happens. But here is a man saying he represents God and instead of feeding the homeless of tending to the widows and orphans, he strolls about in thick gold chains. I don't believe he really has any clue who God is

A million dollars worth of jewelry stolen and the quality of your webcast is that of a crappy gas station security camera? This has insurance fraud all over it.

Let's talk about the preacher who had a million dollars in jewelry. Let's talk about the State of New York actively preventing it's law abiding citizens the right to self defense. I agree with others here in thinking that this is an insurance scam.

No what’s truly atrocious is a self proclaimed preacher who flashes off the way he does with material possessions. That’s the opposite of any of Gods word. He isn’t praying for nothing or no one either. He just wants his money back. Disgusting.

Christ did not wear gold or gems, he did not flash wealth, he did not fleece his followers for their cash. Why would anyone follow this man?

The amount of greed with this bishop is disgusting. The real crime is this “bishop’s” theft from others in the name of the Lord.

These prayers for profit scam artist churches are the real criminals . Atlest the robbers aren't doing it in the name of God . Jesus was a homeless man who lived his life with the sick and outcast He didn't live in a mansion or covered himself in gold and jewls for a reason .
