When I looked at those old statues, thought I was seeing a symbol of what we achieved and overcame, and now with their destruction I can’t remember Who said if Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Now lessons learned will now be forgotten. Yes it was just pointed out that every time I bought my Aunt Jemima brand pancake syrup I was in support of slavery, had nothing to do with that I liked it and this was the brand I was raised up on, as the same for uncle Ben’s rice. Now with the destruction of network shows, classical movies being pulled and censored, Now I can’t wait for the attack begin on KFC and the Colonel, I guess he’ll be rebranded as General Grant. I guess for my repentance of my shins I guess I will start buying all my rice from Asia, and pancakes syrup from Canada, give up watching Sanford and son Who referred to his sister-in-law as a gorilla, and then go to Pollo loco only to eat chicken, And then guess I must condemn all the barbecue places, since most of that originated with roots tied back to the Africa slaves brought over into Jamaica and then into the early colonies. If BLM they’re on this big sterilization kick of Society removing everything that was either remotely tide with slavery, possibly why don’t they remove themselves back to Africa. But until then I guess I’ll continue to say goodbye to soul food, Popeyes chicken, no more chicken & waffles, etc. etc. but I’ll be damned if I stop eating watermelon but yet that too originated out of West Africa, This has gotten way out of hand it needs to end!
