Your students should be honored and proud to call you their instructor. Never ever judge a book by its cover! Oh to sit and have coffee with you and talk percussion with you from rudiments to dci history to drum sets and the music of today. Love what you do and hate I only discovered your channel last year. Stay well and keep reminding us dads, moms and young drummers what once lit our fires and still does! Much needed in this train wreck we have right now. I can remember being in 4th grade telling my mom that I was going to be a drummer. And with a mother’s love she laughed sweetly and told me boy you can’t walk and chew bubble gum how on earth will you manage keeping time. 5 years later I had made it to playing the drum set in all state jazz band and was preparing for dci try outs for south wind in Montgomery Alabama. She was proud, shocked but proud! Sorry to bend your ear
