Great game written with nice humour. Back in a day played it in slo-mo 'coz of my potato PC. Made some battles easier😀. Catchy songs, funny jokes, celtic aesthetic. Hope many new people will enjoy this gem of old with this remaster!

I don't think anyone realizes the weight of this announcement. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2 both ran on the SAME engine as The Bard's Tale ARPG. We could very well potentially see the remaster of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2 for Xbox One!!!

I was looking for when Bard's Tale 4 was coming to Switch and found this trailer. Guess I'll get this game to show my support and wait for 4 to come to the Switch. This will be my first Bard's Tale game. I saw Cohh's let's play of 4 and loved it.

My god, this is one of my earliest journeys into the RPG genre. Even as a small kid the jokes were hilarious and the world enthralling. I'm installing it right now, I had no idea it was a thing until it popped up on my home screen. I'm going to be living a lot of beautiful nostalgia. Thank you.

Being a big fan of the old The Bard's Tale series (I played 1-3 intensively on my trusty Commodore 64), I was kind of disappointed with the average gameplay this ARPG offered. However, having played many RPGs over the years, I found all the various jokes really hilarious. I'm not usually fond of parodies, but this is done just right, with a lot of heart and extremely funny.

This is a game I'd love to have seen a sequel to. Or dlc it just had so much character as a game. And I always felt that it was criminally underrated. Even now with some modern games seem to struggle with making memorable characters and game moments.

...And yes, I dislike what you did with the series, by turning it into a turn-based game.. ugh.

I have the original for Xbox, PS2 and updated PC version. I’d really like to get the Switch version, but I had heard that the remastered version for PS4 had a lot of issues back in 2017. Does this version address those issues, please?

Looks like more of a port than a remaster. Still, it's a good game and I welcome playing it again.
