I heard your interview on the Chickpeeps podcast and was so inspired by your story being a self taught baker and vegan myself. I was wondering which of your books to buy and looks like this one may be the winner. Those tacos look amazing! Congrats on the new book!

I'll likely get the book for the recipes rather than the hacks. Some of these food hacks are mostly things we already do bc convenience foods are pretty commonplace in the kitchen. And some are just ingredient replacements or redundancies. For instance at 3:36 to make a melty cheese, it says "if you can't find melty vegan cheese, use vegan cheddar" Que?? And to make a quick onion base, it says "instead of sautéing onions, use spring onions or shallots". I use all 3 in my kitchen and the chopping time & cooking time is pretty even for me. A quicker onion base is to use onion flakes or onion soup. Usually I keep a container of pre-diced onions in the freezer & a jar of minced garlic drizzled with EVOO in my fridge. Lasts forever. Personally, if I want a melty cheese, I usually just make it from mochi or tapioca starch. I'm sure there are others who'll find the hacks useful, but for me, the recipes are where it's at👌. Thank you for pushing out a new cookbook during quarantine. Especially being stuck at home, people need this!

My not yet vegan boyfriend uses your first two books every single day. It is so amazing that the recipes are so precise, so we can really trust in the results.
It gives him confidence cooking even for visitors that are not so respectful of veganism... Your work is great guys, game changer.

What a rush that must be for you guys! Congratulations to you both! I have three of your books. I will acquire the rest. Can you guys do a budget cookbook? Lots of us are on a pension or super tight budget of some kind. ☮️💕

Waiting for this. I have a question. You often use king oyster mushrooms. In Sweden these are very, very hard to find. Is there another mushroom that might be as good to use?

I wish you guys would create a cookbook filled with recipes for two people. I have all your books, and have this one in pre-order, but I spend my time cutting down your recipes for two people. This is fairly easy to do usually, but then I have lots of left over ingredients.

They must be loads of households with just one or two vegans.
