Evolution of KyoAni in Openings (2003-2017)

A very special studio, known for very high quality animation. Kyoto Animation's animators are salaried employees rather than freelance animators paid per frame, which results on a higher focus on frame quality over quantity.

This was one my first "Evolution of *** in Openings" video - it focuses only on TV Anime, also I chose to use english names whenever possible, so some may look unfamiliar.

This studio is the reason that I truly fell in love with Anime. I've seen several anime before, but never knew what it was called, or where it came from. Once I learned the name "Anime", I did what anyone would do...search it up! Loads of photos popped up, and only one caught my eye.

The detail in that one single screenshot blew my mind, I had to find more like it! I was so glad that there was! It was like Kyoto Animation was my gateway into the anime world.
