Liked. I believe gpupdate /force is optional. Simply rebooting Win7 would have refreshed the Computer policy?

I tried this but when I did the gpupdate /force it said it was successful but nothing else happened. I restarted the computer but it still did not install. Is this because group policies can take a while to propagate? How can I be sure that the group policy is in effect?

does the user has to go to cmd and type that command in order to do that ?? anyway to install automatically when the user starts the pc ??

Mine did not prompt to restart within command line after the gpupdate. When I restarted it, it still didn't install the .msi file. Weird. I followed you step-by-step.
