I naturally just get limited by the free time I have available to pursue this. I have my day job and young kids. If I get too carried away, it's okay. I'll inevitably be forced into a long hiatus, after which I'll just change everything anyways when I manage to find more free time. This forces me to practice discipline in scope creep. Anything that's worth remembering between side project times will eventually get remembered well because it keeps coming up across all the various versions I keep experimenting with.
