I'm African American and Burt was one of my heroes when I growing up. I'm a late 60s kid. Burts 70s & 80s action movies were the best.

I had such a crush on him when I was young, I didn't care that he was 20 years older. He just seemed like such a good guy. It's so sad that the ones he loved didn't have enough respect to be there at his memorial. When I read that his son didn't even show up my heart was broken. Scott thanks for all you do for us. You always are one of the good guys. Much love and enjoy your adventures with Jordan will be watching those as well.

There is something about the vibe at Hollywood Forever that makes me forget that I’m in a cemetery. I feel happy that these people that bring so much happiness into our lives are in an area that exudes celebration, not funeral. Thanks Scott for the walk about in H.F. RIP Burt.

Yeah I noticed the dad sitting behind Anton's grave. I've been in South Florida for 35 years so I'm pretty familiar with Burt Reynolds popularity. About 7 or 8 years ago he appeared downtown here in downtown Lake Worth where we lived and everyone was shocked at his appearance. It was really sad to see, he looked more like a hundred years old. But, he had a great life.

Burt was such a great entertainer & in my opinion a much under rated actor. I liked all his movies & especially liked his appearances on the Carson show. RIP Burt. We miss you! & Once again great job to you Scott. Always enjoy your videos.

“Buddy” was a nickname from childhood that his friends and family called Burt. Thank you for posting this video, Scott. We in Jupiter always thought that he would be laid to rest here.

The statue that Lonnie worked on with a sculptor doesn't look at all like him. A real shame.

As you strolled past Anton Yelchin's plot, I wondered if his parents would be present as they are so often found sitting near his grave and...there was his dad in the background. Such a sad death - my heart breaks for his parents. Great video, Scott!

Poor Burt. Glad you got that. I saw a video he had a mausoleum built on his Fla property for himself and family before he lost the property. Don't think the statue looks like him. Great actor

Im from London, UK of Sikh, Punjabi descent and my father is a BR doppelgänger. He’s truly the Indian double of the man, esp when he was younger like in the photo’s shown when BR was in his prime in the 80’s.

Ah, that '70s decade whereby Reynolds seemed to appear in just about every other movie produced. My Auntie had the opportunity to work w/ him on the Western TV series "Riverboat".

My Dad was friendly with Burt back in the late 70's and early 80's when he was living at his ranch in Jupiter, FL. He opened up a dinner theater and would host some of his friends to come here to do stage plays. I met most of them back them as a kid. Burt was very well liked in the community here having been practically a native of Riviera Beach, FL and went to the local public schools, including my elementary school. My father in law grew up in Riviera Beach and his older cousins were friends with Burt. Bandit Darville's surname was from one of them. Burt spent his last days in N. Palm Beach County area with his theater institute and made occasional appearances at local theaters. He could be spotted in some of the small restaurants in Tequesta, FL getting lunch. The locals all were respectful to him and he lived a pretty quiet, low key life. I was able to go to LA to visit his grave last week and pay my respects to an old friend of the family.

Did not know he had passed away, goodbye laughing man :)
(He had a wonderful funny laugh. But my favorite memory of him was seeing my mom & her girlfriends sitting around our kitchen table, drinking coffee & giggling over Burt's Playgirl centerfold photo. "What's so funny?" "Nothing! Go outside & play!" 🤭 )

My dad was Burts Business manager in the 90's and that bust doesn't look like him. Burt was an awesome guy! Bandit forever!
